Sarah Baum, China - [ you should have been here an hour ago ]

10/01/12 - 15:03:56PM ~ By Zigzag ~

A quiet confidence emanates from the eyes of Sarah Baum as she prepares for the final of the ISA China Cup in Riyue Bay. Shortly after this pic was snapped, the young goofyfoot from Athlone Park came agonizingly close to clinching gold at this historic event which concluded earlier today.

Similarly, at the conclusion of the 2011 season, Sarah was within a whisker of claiming a coveted spot in the Top 17 to contest the ASP Women's world title race for 2012, finishing a few hundred points (a heat or two) shy of achieving the next big step in her career. Sarah's only 17 years-old, so time is most definitely on her side, and with a result like this to kick-off her year don't be surprised to see another Saffa going head-to-head with the world's best in the battle for an ASP World Title soon.

Question
Should fishermen be allowed to pull a trek net through the lineup and bathing area at Surfer’s Corner in Muizenberg?

Yes, people’s lives depend on it (food). The surfers and bathers have alternatives.

No, people’s lives depend on it (shark attacks). The fishermen have alternatives.

No opinion either way, don’t care, doesn’t make a difference to the universe, etc.
